What does a backsplash cost?
Most kitchen backsplashes are a one- or two-day job with a single written price based on the square footage and the tile you chose. Tile is billed at cost and shown on the quote. Small accent walls and vanity backsplashes often finish in a day.
Can I supply the tile?
Yes, and most people do. Choose the tile you like and we handle layout, cuts, setting, and grout. We tell you how much to buy, including the extra box that saves the job when a tile cracks.
How long will my kitchen be out of action?
It will not be. Tile goes up on day one, grout goes in on day two after the mortar sets, and the kitchen is usable the whole time. The range and counters are covered while we work.
What about the outlets in the backsplash?
Clean cuts around outlets and switches, and box extenders to bring them out to the new tile depth, are part of the job. If an outlet actually needs replacing we coordinate that properly rather than improvise.
Subway, mosaic, or large format?
Subway is timeless and forgiving. Mosaic hides a wavy wall well, which the older Bayshore kitchens often have. Large format looks sharp but wants flat walls and a tight layout. Send a photo and you get a straight opinion.
